Peak season: December to April

Shoulder season: May and November

Green season: June to October
Short tropical rains with plenty of sunshine in between, and the lowest package prices of the year. Great for divers, as plankton attracts manta rays.
Flights from Dhaka
Most travellers connect via Colombo, Dubai or Kuala Lumpur. Fares are lowest when booked six to eight weeks in advance and mid-week.
